[quote= Dahl A. R. Duchossoir, Gibson Electrics: The Classic Years : An Illustrated History from the Mid-'30s to the Mid-'60s , Hal Leonard Corporation, 1998, p.91 ]In 1962 a fourth solid bass patterned after the EB-0 called the EB-0F was made available. The 'F' suffix stood for fuzztone and meant that the model had a built-in transistorized circuitry producing the same sound effect as the FZ-1 pedal then marketed by Gibson as an accessory. Early 60s adverts claimed that the fuzz effect was...
Nothing special but I needed to reverse it anyway for repair since all wiring was screwed up. Basically a sillicon Fuzzface followed by a Vox wah circuit.
Currently dead - a complex beast to be sure - what I need is a schematic to start with. I also have a Fender Echo reverb which should give me pointers on the mechanicals, as they are most likely almost identical.
The distortion appears to be the little circuit behind the pot that says.... distortion.
Hey, I have a service manual for one of these babies. It includes a full list of components as well as a pcb layout, schematic and advice on how to troubleshoot the thing. This was bought as photo copy from a company on Ebay a few years ago, and I'm guessing their selling of it was not too legal as a few months later Ebay contacted me saying that their was a breach of the law involved in their selling of the manual to me.
Anyway, this is an awesome sounding phaser, and the manual pretty much...
I put this photos on a local forum but didnt have much feedback. So Im not expecting much
This is another 70´s spanish artifac (pedal) someone gave me but couldnt find any info to take it back to original condition.
Does anyone have any info regarding it?
I must say it the heaviest pedal ive come across by far. Any infor will be welcome.
I have opportunity to buy Eko Crescendo volume pedal. How much is it worth? What do you know about those pedals?
heard they are made in Italy. Did you see one of them? Are they made of aluminium or something other? Would it be good base for wah pedal?
the seller claims:
this is the last version of the origional 70s colorsound tonebenders until the recent reissues. very rarely seen and made before the eurotec pedals.
eurotec is right - this is a case in the size of the eurotec pedals. Now let´s have a look inside:
Hmmm.....doesn´t look like vintage, doesn´t look like old colorsound, doesn´t look like eurotec....but hey..... the pcb remembers me.... it...
Did you ever want to have a look inside the living room of an addicted collector ?
Here is your chance to visit the private museum of Graham Green Devon:
So, which pedals can be found there ?
I think we have got everything what is good, evil and desired, we have (in alphabetic order):

Today is a Lucky day ... I just found that piece of gear from a Junk Shop close to my town, Bologna, north of Italy ... is a Schaller Echo-Reverb Machine 2000 in near mint conditions, is a reverb echo tape unit from seventies .... I suppose. I will post some more pictures soon (better quality and guts). If someone has any kind of informations or documentations about it ... this is the place !! I will share mine soon !!!
The four-stage phasing circuit offers 720 degrees of phasing sweep variable from .2 to 14 Hz (cycles per second). The Phase Tone's FET's were carefully sorted and matched by hand to produce the smoothest phasing sweep possible with low noise. Unlike other phasers, the Phase Tone runs negative feedback of the signal to each phase-shifting FET for less distortion. Internal trimmers adjust center frequency and width of the phasing sweep (calibrated prior to market, we recommend adjustment of these...
A couple of people asked me to post this. Though I have to say that after opening it for the first time, I'm a little less inclined to pursue it myself.
As you can see, it has two stacked PCBs — which explains how they managed to provide so many filtering options in a small-format stompbox. It's the smallness that's much of the appeal to me — this doesn't necessarily sound better than a Mu-Tron or the like — the coolness is that it provides Mu-Tron-style options in a...
I've got two non-working units that I need to fix. My problem is really weird - it's a short between V+ and GND on BOTH units, and it seems to be only when the SAD1024 is plugged in. It's been tested to work in another circuit, so it shouldn't be the chip!
OK I have some time now to start uploading pictures. Hopefully they will show up correctly. I've had problems with broken links when I try to show pictures in bbcode forums. And I really need to crop and resize most of them, so they might be slow loading. Also brighten them up a bit. Therefore I'll just post these three of the Fuzzrite to see if everything is working ok before uploading any more, ok? Anyway, as you will see, my little micro studio is a mess. It's ten pounds of gear in a nine...
I was just wondering if anyone could tell me anything about the dod punkifier? where it sits in terms of a circuit on the dist/od meter and or anything about it's design?
also: is it illegal or unwise to post pics of the circuit?
so on my quest for new and strange fuzz tones i came across a link to this beast. i think it's been mentioned before in a different thread. i found a couple things about it interesting. i think the diode arrangement looks kind of cool and am curious about what it might sound like. also it calls for a 2k2 volume pot. not sure what's going on there, but it could be what they had on hand at the time. in the article about it, they state that it sounds great but has low output. i figured this could...
