Hi,
a friend gave me a Farfisa Wha-Wha/Volume pedal. The battery leaked (probably some decades ago) and destroyed part of the backplate.
I replaced the battery snap, checked the wires and now it seems intact. But so far I just got a really really quiet sound out of it.
Does anybody has a schematic or some informations about it?
It seems to be the predecessor of the Maestro Wah-Wah/Volume Pedal but I didn't found a schematic.
Those Maestro Pedals seem to acquire high prices on ebay, but the...
My old Polychorus which was working just fine a few weeks ago is playing up.
Basically the on-off switch makes a lot of clicking thump type noise when switched and no signal passes unless the blend switch is on. Otherwise there is total silence.
Now I cant look at it myself but I was wondering if anyone would have some 'clues' so that when I take it to Mr Fixit Man I dont sound like a gormless twit. :)
Hi, I'm in Prague,CZ and am writing to request some assistance/advice.
Here's the story, I was recently scammed/ripped off on a local bazaar. The seller was selling a vintage Bad Stone phaser and pretended to not be a musician or know anything about the effect. He said he had no way of testing it. All good so far, even if it wasn't working I was willing to get it working. So I asked him for a photo of the inside of the pedal and he sent me one of an original version board in great condition....
Theres no way that I can spend $900 or more on these pedals. I would love to, but theres this thing called reality and it truly sucks sometimes.... :slap:
So, if anybody has these schematics and or gut shots available, could they be possibly posted?
I am planning to build multiple circuits, pnp and npn in one metal enclosure, each with its own input and output jacks, each with separate power supplies. Will positive grounds and negative grounds , those from the output jacks making contact with the enclosure be a problem?
Has anyone seen any type of schematic for the Schaller wah/sustain or wah/fuzz? I have one DOA, and I can find quite a few issues with it. However, having a schematic would sure save me time and effort. Below is a gut shot, and the first thing that scares me is the two 4PDT footswitches.
I'd really like to know what the two trim pots do, but getting it working at all is a priority. Thanks for any tips.
Hi...all...

Does anyone can help me to draw pcb layout (corel draw..... )
here is the BC108 Fuzz Face from 1969-70 Hendrix era.
Anyway I've got ready to transfer PCB and schematic, but the size of the PCB it self is a problem. I've checked the size of the image in photoshop, and it says its width: 17,5cm, height: 10,83cm; which is not true. So if anyone got the size of the PCB itself would be really grateful!
Bc108c. Pots are 2-69 and 9-69 I believe. Sounds amazing- goes from total clean to burning jimi tones to heavy gated fuzz all with using guitar volume.
Some gut shots I spotted on ebay some time ago, didn't find much info anywhere, except that its available from rounsound.com, the Vox version, that is.
You won´t believe it, here some guts of a Kay Fuzztone for $475,-- :!: :!: :!: (Buy it now):
Here is the schematic:

As you can see it´s nothing else than a low-cost-version of the Shin-ei/Univox Superfuzz or Ibanez/Marlboro/.../..../ Standard Fuzz or Zvex Octane/2/3.
This morning at a pawn shop I picked up a Kent wah for the princely sum of $19.99. (I don't know why I bought it since I'm not a wah-wah kind of guy and the only time I get an urge to buy one is when I listen to the first two Stooges albums.)
I opened it up at home and saw the Shin-ei logo on the insides of the bottom plate:
It works, but the wah pot's a little scratchy. I was expecting it not to work at all.
Picked up a junk fuzz on Xmas day - an ELK Wau Fuzz. It's an early 70s large treadle monster with a tone foot switch. It should by rights produce a clanging octave fuzz noise as underneath its guts are essentially a Shin Ei 6 transistor super fuzz. But as of now it's simply out putting a mild overdrive. I've had the multimeter over it - no obvious voltage black holes.
I've never even even heard of this. There's a component side shot in the auction.
Reading between the lines it doesn't sound so great so maybe that's why they didn't make so many. But I think 79 must have been near the end for Colorsound anyway?
Hi!
I'm a new member from Italy. This is my first post and i would like to thank all the members of this wonderful forum for such a great work on this site. :D
By the way...
Anyone have ever heard of the Montarbo Sinphoton Fuzz? It seems to be a very nice sustainy cremy distortion from the 60's as an old friend described me. Anyone has got this schematic? I would very much appreciate it. :) :) :)
Ciao!
Effects database entry . My unit is red. The date of this pedal is unknown to me. On the potmeters there are writings that may be date codes (between '75 and '81).......
I got this pedal when I bought some pedals from a friend; it was not fully functional and he knew I love these kind of mysteries. The origin of the pedal is unknown to me. I guess some Russian-like country as all signs are cyrillic. The signs on the outside of the pedal are crossed out so I can't really make it out. On the...
