I troubleshot some but still couldnt fix it.Couldn't find much about this one.i found it for the price of $10.boost works but the volume pedal doesn't.i have the schematic but I didn't know about posting it since it's scan of the original.Morley volume boost
I have always like the idea of a sample/hold effect, but there are a lot of horror stories about it. I am right now just trying to understand how the noise generation works. I understand the timing of sampling the noise level of a noisy transistor, but the voltage that is sent to the VCF section, what is the range? Is it +/-9V? 0-9V? Something else? School me on this!
Hello.
I measured bulb from Nomad Verberola. This is exactly Vibrochorus, that unit uses this same bulb and photocells as the previous shin-ei univibe.
It may be useful...
The bulb has a DC resistance of 97ohm
I recently got a Klemt Echolette M100, but i am not sure how I should connect the output, and i wouldn't like to make a mistake : I want to use it as an effect (like a regular rack or pedal effect), not like a power amp with speakers.
I can't find the service manual, nor the operation manual for it...
Should I use the phone out din plug on the front for that usage ?
Can i safely use it without speakers (i have read on GS some people assume that it wasn't advised to do so) ?
Is...
I recently bought a Multivider from a famous musician. The unit works fairly well except some issues.
The 'soprano' circuit doesn't seem to work. If I turn it up I get a slight increase in hiss. If I mix the signal so it's only soprano I get a nasty weak, gated sound from the instrument. I'm told it's supposed to be a fuzz, not an octave up, but it doesn't sound like a (working) fuzz.. Also, I'm not sure what the knob does in the top left corner. It doesn't seem to effect the signal much...
is it just me or does this guild brian may pedal have far less components then the vero layout from tagboardeffects. Thanks for any input a head of time
can you help me fixing my old Univibe? It worked perfectly for many years but when I plugged it in a few weeks ago, there was no sound at all. I still have a Megavibe, but I really want to have the Shin Ei back on my board now, because I dig the non-bypass sound in combination with my old Marshalls for Hendrix and Trower, etc. I have no problems at all doing the technical work and I have all the tools you need for that, but I'm really kind of :slap: when it comes to understanding the...
This is my first post here. I've been building vero board clones for a while and have been a reader on the forum, as it's such a great information source.
Sorry if this is the wrong section for this question, but I wasn't quite sure where it belonged...
My next project will be a superfuzz. I know that basic audio builds a really nice superfuzz, and I thought his 1/2 gain switch is a great addition to the pedal. From the demos it seems like the superfuzz is really reactive to the...
I recently found a Laser Phase pedal in a yard sale. It was very cheap so I took it home and found out it's a cool sounding pedal. It says PH310 on the pcb, which I found out was made by Yu Brothers (Coron) (thnks effect database) and also by companies like Tronix (hence the video). I already did some work tracing and did some photoshop magic, but I really need someone to make sense out of it (schematic or new pcb layout). I have not traced before. Its a very slow progress. Here's my...
Hi Guys,
I’ve a 70’s japanese wah that sounds pretty goodbye in the bass and mid range
but at then treble end of then peas travel
A horrible noise kicks in- any idea of this is likely a bad pot or something
Else?
First post here so I'm introducing myself :D .
I'm not a guitarist (booo!) but I'm interested in guitar FXs, sound design and audio DSP. Lately I've been using a modeling tool to generate audio plugins from schematics (like a simplified spice simulation in real time) and after successfully creating a few simple circuits I'm trying a complex one, namely the amplification stages of the Roland RE-201.
Although I've been refreshing my (basic) electronic knowledge, I'm having troubles...
I have both a 80s BK garage made Tubedriver and his latest reissue. After trying countless tubes I have discovered the NOS Telefunken ECC81 to give the best results. I have 3 of these tubes and they are extremely consistent providing great tone, mojo, and character to these pedals. To my ears the difference is astounding in both pedals. Yes, they are expensive but do not disappoint. Has anyone else discovered the same result?
hi folks ,
built a hornby skewes booster with an OC44 and its sounding good . The following ideas may be useful in some way if i can work out how to do them lol
There is quite a large boost with noticeable hiss and for the places i play the volume level is harder to control with it 'cooking ' ....
so what i'm thinking -
is there a simple way to calm this circuit down a bit ? and reduce the hiss perhaps with small value caps
with my limited knowledge i'm wondering if some kind of master...
Does anyone have the pcb and bom from the Gaussmarkov Gristleizer project? I have a couple of old pcbs and the old website is no more. I am hoping someone has the project files saved and can post them or message me. Thanks
