ATTENTION ! This Turbo Rat has been modified:
.... the modifications include Fulltone 3pdt switch, silver solder connections, socketed opamp with your choice of 2 LM308 opamps which are included in this auction.
The opamps are shown here:

Since they are made from the same Si-wafer the only audible difference will be: the case.

If you want to buy this Mojo-Rat you can get it for $100,-- only... here:

So, other than te opamps, the modification is that it was TB and still is TB but with another switch and silver solder.

F**ck.... that's real mojo crap
Sorry. Plain out of planes.

Why? I've seen plenty of Rat's on my bench. What does this one set apart from the others?

Yes..... but where are the gut shots you made ?
The seller above presents them for free.....
I expect that you wouldn´t buy this pedal - even when there is silver solder inside ?
Did you visit the sellers "shop"? :

It was only "modified" because the switch had crapped out - like many I have seen - probably had one of those el cheapo x wing switches originally

Oh yes, this one (pictured in the post above) says "Woodcutter" (I'm referring to those little cryptic messages glued to the pots).

I've been searching a long time, trying to find a collection of these little messages... Does anyone know any other?

Just got a Turbo Rat in.........

Weird one this; circuit is OK but it uses 2 CC 1M resistors (to vref at the input and before the FET)

But worst of all
The pots are C100k's, reverse LOG potmeters. I HATE EM! I don't know what ProCo wants with this but this make it so hard to dial in a nice sound. I once before saw a Rat with reverse log potmeters but all the other versions I encountered had the normal Log's.

I'll post some gutshots!

i just picked one of these up for 30$. i got home, didnt have an adapter, so i used a battery.... it sounded like crap. hopefully it was a dying battery... but would that make it sound all harsh? anyway is the original all buzzy like this one? is the turbo rat different from other rats other than the leds? how can i make it useable? ill problably put silicon diods in for softer clipping.

i decided to mod my crap turbo rat. i planned on doing a few, the first of which was to remove c6 and c7, and replace them with filters, placing r4 and r5 in parrallel for more gain and bass. i did this, boxed it back up, and there was no sound except when volume and gain were high and i hit really hard on the strings. it was an EXTREMELY gated sound.... what happened?
