Looks strikingly similar to the old Super Tube in features and has the dual JRC4558. Not sure about the specifics though. Anyone want to take a more educated guess?

According to a Premier Guitar review:
"The Mid control is the most obvious—and welcome—addition to what you’d consider a standard TS circuit."

Sorry. Different timezones. I had to wake up first

Thanks for the pics. First time I see one so I cannot say that much, other than that the first thing to check was wether one of the pots was a dual. In that case chances would be good we were looking at a resurrected Super Tube. But that does not seem to be the case.
Sorry. Plain out of planes.

The blank space in the middle of the 4 knobs is begging for a switch or another pot. I'm thinking of adding bass boost with a capacitor on a mini toggle across the 0047uf cap (in the OP's picture it's the silver cap in the middle of the board above IC on the right). Will that work?

Huh!?
You can tell the function of a cap from a photo without being able to see how it's connected?

Of course: the described capacitor is part of the "MID"-control. But I can´t tell you how a change of the value should influence the bass-response. BTW, the capacitor isn´t .0047µF, it is .047µF.
There´s a sucker born every minute - and too many of them end up in the bootweak pedal biz.

Here's some more gut shots. I tried to make it easy. I can provide values if someone can draw up a schematic.

Thanks! :thumbsup
Drawing that schem will not be that much a problem. However, knowing the external wiring to the pots would come handy.

green solder stop and then a ground plane (made from copper), then some glue and pertinax.

Consider that question obsolete.

The more helpful answwer would be "a resistor". I had to revert to the JD9 to check for sure.

Do you expect from me that I should lie ? I mean, what can I do - there is simply no resistor (at least in my unit):

And there has been another time where a certain Tube-Exorcist or his alter ego was absolutely sure he was right while there happened to be a post production mod later. Someting with an Ibanez Noise Buster if I remember correct. It took him a lot of effort even to admit that 2 parties could both be right.

Meanwhile, while drawing up a circuit diagram, intended to be posted here, I use the information I get provided by my forum members. That means I cannot revert back to "my suddenly appeared personal" unit. I do not have any. That also means I have trouble with suddenly appearing (partial) pictures to prove a case but nothing else.

We've been through this discussion before. I bail out. I have no interest in such a discussion anymore.

Oh BTW - may be helpful - this jack is wired to the footswitch. So if there should be a resistor, maybe someoane added a pulldown resistor or so.

Oh and before I forget it, here are the potentiometer connections:

Pulldown....
And in your unit RLED is replaced by a jumper wire as well? Guess not.

I didn´t trace that part yet, therefore I don´t know. But looking at the pictures now it appears to me, that the "resistor" (jumper ?) is from LED-kathode to ground - obviously to induce a small current in the off-state to avoid popping... same effect as what wil be cured by a pulldown.....
