Hi. I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I have an Ibanez TS-7 that is currently not working. I bought it in unknown condition, and while the bypass works properly, when the pedal is engaged there is no sound. After opening and a quick inspection, I noticed that at least the D7 diode is broken. What replacement part can be used for this?

I saw 1N4003-TP somewhere on a TS-7 blog but I can't seem to find that specific item. Are there certain specs for the replacement diode I have to go by or just any 1N4003 diode will do?

Any 1N400x will do. The diode just shorts when you plug in the wrong polarity adapter. It's rated a rectifier diode rated at 1A.

Well I replaced the diode. I guess that wasn't the only problem with the pedal as it still doesn't work. Sound when bypassed, LED comes on when engaged, but no sound. I can hear the level adjust the static volume, if that means anything. Hmm....help?

if that diode was burnt open, the IC is fried and needs substitution, along with the main filter capacitors c37 and 38.

Is there a schematic or a list where I can see the values and sizes of those caps?

I found the ratings for c37 and c38, I just can't find a place to buy these replacements. All the websites I've found don't meet each spec requirement. Here are the values:

9 1 C37 91173055-40 C, ELEC 100U25V(MS5)P=2.5
10 1 C38 91173054-40 C, ELEC 47U25V(MS5) P=2.5

100µF /25V (anything equal or over 25V is fine).

47µF / 25V. Same deal as for the voltage rating...
