No official date, but says "available in June". That includes the fuzz (Frantone Peach Fuzz clone) and the Transparent Overdrive (Timmy clone).

The article was from mid last year.

IMO if your not in a hurry to have this pedal immediately youd be a fool to buy this for 40 bux as is, shitty pots, SMD, etc.. than to spend 100 bux on the real thing from paul c that was made by hand by someone that gives a shit about your tone and uses high quality parts.

and remember you could buy the danelectro to keep you satisfied until the real timmy you've ordered has arrived!

Here more info to find out which boutique designs have been "stolen":
http://www.coolcattone.com/pdf/Cool_Cat ... ctions.pdf

So what we have got:
CT-1, Tremolo: borrowed from Cesar Diaz, Fulltone or Demeter ?
CTO-1, Transparent Overdrive: Timmy-clone
....
....
....

really "cool".... I am curious, when Behringer will fight back... and what will be the first Zvex clone made by whom... or are they such a junk that nobody wants to clone them ?

Welcome to the free economy in a globalized world - 12year old chinese virgins under the moonlight [(C) R.G. I would guess that the Metal pedal is a Shredmaster and accoring to the ebay auction below, the Drive is just a TS.

The Frantone Peach Fuzz is not a Muff clone, it is LM386 based... :|

The funniest part about that is the HC people calling TGP people "douches"...

Yep, here's the proof that there still need for freestompboxes.org.
Whenever I see kinky thread like this one, I go to the printview and save it as for backup.

It is, in my view, the first corporate clone of a boutique stompbox, and in that sense it's really surprising. We did see the Ibanez swirl pedal, but that was on just a graphical clone... was notable still.

Now I'm really dying to find a release date for that Danelectro box... :horsey:

No (additional) conspiracy going on with the TGP thread being deleted. I started that thread, hoping to discuss the double standard applied to boutiquers cloning the big companies vs. the other way around. Once it morphed into free advertising for Danelectro, I deleted the thread. I should have known.

From what I saw, the thread was deleted after someone made the claim that there are currently 2 boutique builders building clones of the Zendrive.
It seems the mods at TGP just really can't face up to the truth, so they censor it.

I said that - I didn't even mention the builders' names though. Too risque for some, I guess.

I don't know - it was toward the end. I posted that, and next time I tried to check the thread it was deleted.

CO-1 Drive - rumoured to be a Tubescreamer
CV-1 Vibe - Univibe
CD-1 Distortion - I'm betting a Marshall probably Guv'nor
CF-1 Fuzz - Peach Fuzz

Well, here's the latest thread over there on the subject. Read it before they delete it.
