There´s a sucker born every minute - and too many of them end up in the bootweak pedal biz.

envelope follower circuit at the input. remove the momentary switch. add a buffer maybe... usually the way to hack into pedals.
but then again... why not build/buy a slow gear?
I used to have this pedal. its decent. the momentary switch to swell things up or down in volume is cool, but awkward. it has potential though... some interesting possibilities.

Hi!
The Slow Gear is pretty nice but not able to handle longer "swell times" like the FX-15.
Cheers,
Foo

true, i guess. although I don't remember there being much advantage to the fx-15 over the slow gear, the momentary switch, although clever was annoying to use. if this could be made enveloped controlled it may have a more dynamic range than the slow gear.

thanks!
nope i just add some modification like changing the foot switch to conductive pick and two caps for speed control.

Could you not use the input to trigger a CMOS gate (with some amplification of course); shouldn't be TOO bad should it?
Testing, testing, won too fwee
