I bought a couple of stereo 1/4 input jacks to replace the worn out plastic input jack on my ts-9. However after removing it and desoldering the wires on the input side, how can i figure out which one goes to each tab in the stereo input jack. There is a yellow wire comes from the PCB, a black wire from the negative of the battery switch and the other black wire goes to the output jack. How do i connect this properly to the stereo input jack? I have been looking for a guide in the internet but it seems difficult to find.

Yellow = Tip
Black to PCB = Sleeve
Battery Neg = Ring

Should i replace it with an open circuit or closed plastic stereo jack?? WHich one shields or grounds the noise better?
