What I want to do is trace my Joyo UO and I've seen where someone has taken pics of both sides of the board and superimposed one over the other making it easier to trace the circuit. If I take pics of both sides can someone do this for me? Thanks in advance.

Yep... A scan of the tracks is easy to do and give accurate size of the board. It's easier to adjust the component side pics with the tracks scan...

Do you mean put it on a scanner? I have one and can do that. Thanks!

Yes, it works great with no flash for the trackside...

I don't think a scanner will work that well. The jacks are on the trace side. I did the best I could with these pics.

Uh, indeed... :slap:

Nevermind, for your next try, here's the method I use:

- Use GIMP (or Photoshop) to convert your component view into a rectangular PCB (ie : get rid of perspective effect).
- Use Inkscape (or Corel) to have the two images aligned on two different layers.

Then adjust transparency along with your tracing.

A definitive pic is useless since you cant really see both sides' tracks at the same time (same color and low resolution).

But here's the .svg file that'll help you out. Just install Inkscape (free and good!).

Cheers!
