I already took out the germanium clipping diode, but I have also removed the 1n cap in parallel with the transistors used for clipping. It seems to have let higher frequencies thru, which i can roll off with the tone knob, like more defined or grittier. I havent tried it live with band yet though.
I notice the ocd also has this cap.
