I've built the roger mayer octavia and i want to control the distortion with a expression pedal.
and...(here comes the tricky part) i want the final volume to decrease when the distortion increases, so the final volume stays more or less the same.
I've been trying to do this with two vactrols, one to controlo the distortion and other to volume. On the last one the voltage coming from the expression pedal is inverted before it goes to the vactrol led. but i'm not getting very good results...
So i was wondering, maybe some one already did this, or know a circuit that does what i describe above. Anyone?
