Any way to get vibrato mode on a Joyo analog chorus?
I thought the Joyo was some sort of Ce-2 copy but I'm not sure. It does have true bypass if that makes a difference. Does anyone know of a mod so that I could put a vibrato mode toggle (remove the original signal but keep the effected signal)?

You've got to trace the signal (dry from input buffer or wet from BBD output) to find the mixer. I guess that mixer is some opamp stage...
Now, lift the dry signal path with a switch and you're done (like desolder a resistor somewhere, and use the two empty pads to solder a switch+resistor in series).
Dry on : chorus. Dry off : vibrato.
Check tonepad's CE-2 project to actually "see" the mod.

It does indeed : with no true bypass, the dry signal is always on, so if you ever cut it with a switch = no sound in bypass mode...tantamo wrote: It does have true bypass if that makes a difference.
- Are you a mod or a rocker?
- Uh, no, I'm a mocker.
