Hey all, I have a black Russian muff (v8) and after hearing some pretty distinct differences in the green v7 to this one I was curious if anyone knew what component changes it would take to get my black muff to a green internally? Would it just be some simple component swapping?

Here you'll find both schematics, so you can compare.

In terms of spoiling the black Sovtek, i wouldn't recommend it. It's beginning to gain some notable value as the green one did a few years back. Modded to green specs, the tone may be more to what you are after, but the value of the unit will decrease immediately. If you need the green sound, i'd suggest you build a clone of it (lots of DIY projects available), rather than mod the black.
