Boss Tremolo/Pan PN-2 easy but great mod
Hey guys, I'm a n00b in here so bare with me
I have got this Boss PN-2, witch is an ok tremolo/ Paner, but the LFO is a bit noisy if you have an overdrive in after it. But that is not where I'm headed at.
I found out that if you short circuit the R52 resistor and put the rate at around the last 25%, and deapth at max, and mode to saw tooth tremolo, it makes a great ring modulator and it still gives you a great tremolo at other settings, so I can't see why you wouldn't do it Hope you enjoy.
And give me simple, but helpfull mods if you have some up the sleeve

Hi, I know it's a very old post, but I have a PN2 which I messed up a couple of years ago, I was re-hosing it but somewhere on the way I gave up the project.
Now after 2 years I'm trying to put it back together but I don't have any schematic or picture, I don't know where to connect the cables, I've tried various solutions but it doesn't work,
Any chance you can help me out?
Thanks

I've searched that schematic some time ago, and i've found nothing.thermochina wrote:I have a PN2 which I messed up a couple of years ago, I was re-hosing it but somewhere on the way I gave up the project.

The best thing to do is to take detailed pictures of both sides of the board, and to attach them here, so we can trace it and find out which wire is what.
I only give negative feedback.

That would do the job perfectly, are able to take those pictures?
I'll really appreciate, it's just matter of removing the 4 screws which are holding the bottom cover.
Cheers
