Ok, after some extensive internet searching I am coming up empty. I was lucky to score an old VB-2 circuit board and I am working on rebuilding it. I would like to make it as close to the original as possible. So far I have been able to track down all the parts ACCEPT for the mode switch. From looking at the schematic it looks like a common spdt switch, but it is a rotary pot of some kind. I wrote Boss to see if they offered the replacement part but they said they no longer offer parts for the VB-2. They gave me the parts number as SRU1023, but after searching Mouser, Digikey, Conrad, etc I have been unable to locate the part. SO, does ANYONE have an idea of a replacement part I could use? Is it just a simple 9mm PC mount 3 point rotary switch? I don't think it is a detent potentiometer because the schematic does not show a value. Thanks in advance!

This would do the trick? Selecting the correct number of poles and positions of course...

A switch is a switch, so unless you want to have in a tight enclosure as the original, you can use a standard switch to get the latching/bypass/unlatching set up.
- Are you a mod or a rocker?
- Uh, no, I'm a mocker.
