I'm looking for a replacement slide potentiometer for my black (recent) MXR Ten Band EQ.

Dunlop has the sliders for the black M108 Ten Band EQ on their website, but you can't buy them directly from Dunlop:
https://www.jimdunlop.com/product/ecb04 ... 07226-8.do
Part nr: ECB046

Ordering them directly from Dunlop is not possible, they emailed me.
Dunlop refers me to a distributor in Antwerp Belgium AB Music (algambenelux.be) but they also do not sell to end users.

The sliders (probably) are:
Taiwan Alpha RA2545F 20k LIN RED LED
See:
http://www.taiwanalpha.com.tw/english2014/p_e_086.htm

Series: RA2545F
Termination Style: Through Hole
Travel: 25 mm
Resistance: 20 kOhms
Taper: Linear
Length: 40 mm
Width: 9 mm
Height: 7 mm

Mouser, Digikey and Futurlec do not have them, and I can't find them in other online Europe stores like Conrad, Banzai, Musikding etc.

Anyone knows a place where one can buy a slide potentiometer for the MXR Ten Band EQ (Dunlop Part nr: ECB046, or Taiwan Alpha RA2545F RED LED 20k)?

Thanks!

I got a quote for 1 slider from Kebe repairs in Eindhoven The Netherlands (http://www.kebe.nl/) for €22,45!
Pfff that is way to much for a 1 euro slider... :(

Kebe gets it from AB Music (http://algambenelux.be) in Antwerp Belgium, who will in turn have to order it from MXR/Dunlop (U.S.A. https://www.jimdunlop.com/product/ecb04 ... 07226-8.do) who have ordered it from some distributor (perhaps U.S.A or Azia) who has ordered it from a manufacturer (probably Alpha Taiwan http://www.taiwanalpha.com.tw/english2014/p_e_086.htm).
So the slider will go through 5 different locations, has been in 3 continents and 5 countries, and will be priced upwards 4 times (everybody want to earn some money, right?) ...

Isn't there a more direct route for getting a specific but simple and cheap Alpha Taiwan slider? :?:

I do think it (the Gain slider) needs to be replaced. The LED is not working anymore and there is DC voltage on the resistor tracks of the slider, which causes crackle sounds when moving that slider (probably from a fault in the LED tracks inside the slider).

I could get away with having no LED on the slider and cutting the LED power to the slider, to see if that will remove the DC voltage and fix the crackle sounds.

I received the 20K W tapered slider pot from KeyMusic in Rotterdam The Netherlands some time ago.
It is part nr:
MXR WMDU ECB046 20K REPLACEMENT SLIDER POT FOR MXR® EQ PEDALS
It costed 7,50 euro + 5,- euro shipping.

I replaced the faulty Gain slider pot in the MXR EQ and all is working fine again! :-)
