Sekova Power Booster gut shots, schematic and pcb files.

Just a LPB? But this looks kind of old. Anyway for all the effect databases around there is none that mentions production dates.
Anyway, I found almost nothing on the Sekova company as such except that it's a Japanese company also making guitars, but they go back to the 60s. Perhaps they didn't survive the latter half of of the 70s.

As far as I know was Sekova a japanese company producing this stuff in the early 70´s. They even had little boosters in a small case like the EH-Boosters:

2002 Power Booster
2003 Bizzy Bass Booster: http://files.muziq.be/pics/sekova_bizzybass_001.jpg
2006 Tinny Treble Booster: http://files.muziq.be/pics/sekova_tinnytreble_001.jpg
2007 Microphone Booster : http://files.muziq.be/pics/sekova_micbooster_002.jpg
2009 Frizzy Fuzz

The only difference to the clones of today´s bootweaker is that they had to sell their products cheaper than the original....

Does anybody have an online ressource to look up issue dates for pedals? What date do I put on the EH LPB then?

Yes, I had the Frizzy Fuzz years ago... apparently a transistor Muff Fuzz clone. 2 trannys, 2 diodes, a few resistors and caps, one really cheezy pot, crappy switch. It was in the plug-in box like the Muff, and was painted red.

The only unusual thing I remember were the diodes- big, black, cylinder with a cone on one side.
