During surfing I found these guts:

As we know, these stompboxes have been made by colorsound.
Since we don´t have a photo from the track side, we can only speculate..... so we have:
a LM1458 (NS) from 1978
a µA 741 CP (TI) from 1978
4 diodes 1N 4148
220k resistors....

Hey, now there comes the EH Big Muff Pi Op-amp into my mind.....

I don’t think these were made by Colorsound. The company was Dharma Sound, who were related to Colorsound, yes, and did design work for them. They were based in Kent - 105 Bellegrove Road, Welling, which on Google Maps street view appears to be above where the Paddy Power betting shop is now.

I just posted a DS Distorter - the circuit is identical.
