This unit is currently for sale on ebay for a measly 3700 dollars...
Maybe the 48.5 mean it was built in 48th week of 1975?

Is it my imagination, or is the schematic very similar to the Shin Ei Uni Vibe?.... :hmmm:

PCB wise the thing is just a Shin-Ei resleytone. Difference is the way the controls are implemented.
Sorry. Plain out of planes.

Thought so....which explains the high-pricing, the funny thing is that it probably contains less than $100.00 worth of components in it..... :hmmm:

The "SM-NO" stamp on the bottom of these pedals refers to the date. For example: the stamp "SM NO 48 5" is the 5th month of the 48th year of the Shōwa era. The Shōwa year count in Japan started in 1926 (= year 1), so year 48 is 1973.

(Thanks to mondo500 on the D*A*M forum for this info!)
