I have a similar pedal. I believe they were sold through stores like Manny's and Wurlitzer and they would have the store name put onto the graphic.

Mine actually says "Tim's Own Fuzzer Buzzer."

It's a pretty raspy and grungy fuzz. If I recall, the circuit in mine was very similar to the Lafayette Rado and Heathkit fuzz circuits.

It´s basically the same as the "Orpheum Fuzz", the "AAT Fuzz", the "Andre Fuzz", the "Clark Fuzz", the "EU Wurlitzer Fuzzer Buzzer" and the "Tim´s own Fuzzer Buzzer".

The contain all the same pcb, some with ge-trannies, some with si-trannies and the ciruit is derived from the first (ge-)mosrite fuzzrites.

Some have 2 knobs, some have three - the third knob is a tone-control arranged the same as in every guitar.

Any additional guts welcome to verify this.

I don´t know who made them, but would be very interested to get more info about the "manufacturer".

I've been to Manny's. It's a cool famous music store.

Ask them!

In 1966 Hendrix seems to be quite in demand, playing on sessions with King Curtis and Ray Sharpe; Lonnie Youngblood; The Icemen; Jimmy Norman; Billy Lamont and get's his first composer credit on the Curtis Knight and The Squires instrumental single 'Hornets Nest'[40] As well as forming his own band, Jimmy James and The Blue Flames, composed of Randy Palmer (bass), Danny Casey (drums), a 15-year-old guitarist who played slide and rhythm, named Randy Wolfe, and various stand-ins he would casually meet at Manny's Music Shop

THE late and great guitarist from one of my favourite 60s bands - SPIRIT
He was known then as Randy California
He died while saving his son from drowning when he was caught in a rip while surfing in Hawaii

Auction ended, $396,-- is a lot of money for such a unit....

Add a guitar tone control (poti+cap to gnd) after P1 in this schematic:
http://analogguru.an.ohost.de/001/schem ... uzz-Ge.gif

and you´ve got it.

Oh, I forgot to mention another brother/sister from the same builder: "Gracin´s fubar"

Dont know Gracin and don´t know what fubar should mean....

fubar is a noun
Pronounced "foo-bahrr"
It is an acronym for "Fooked Up Beyond All Recognition"
