Information
I've just put it back together. First impressions - "lightens up" the tone even when all the faders are on 0. I presume it's a slight hi-freq boost.
The transformer puts out 16-0-16V, which is regulated down to +-12V, if I remember correctly (I had it apart for only a brief moment). UA4136PC op-amps. It's rather flimsy (the whole board moves when you move the sliders), but it sounds nice.

It'll have a flat response with all the faders in the middle of their tracks - the perceived "top boost" is just that the box has a high input impedance and a low output impedance, so it will only lightly load the guitar and will drive longer cables better.Rocket Roll wrote:I've just put it back together. "Why is it humming?" "Because it doesn't know the words!"
