BTW, the guy said that it never did this for him. Is it possible that something went wrong during shipping? - or does it sound like BS? Thanks again.

If your setup is noisier than his before the pedal (unshielded guitar with single coils?) any trem might 'thump'.

Could you try some in macro mode, and, maybe trackside? Thanks.

A schematic would also be helpful too.... :)

`

Sharp photo's of both component and trackside are the first step toward a schematic....

But a schematic should be findable on the internet, shouldn't it?.... :)

Not yet....
Some parts are still unsolved, but I can tell you so far that it is a 4-stage switched capacitor phaser.

I was using my LesPaul with humbuckers with Evidence Audio and George L's through my 63 Pro. Maybe I'll try another amp or guitar. The thing doesn't seem to thump when the rate is 75% - 100%. But, 0-75 thumps with the rate that the pot is set at.
BTW, I didn't realize the Twister was still un-schematiced. I'm happy to share pics and info for any of my vintage effects. Maybe I should post them in the circuit analysis section though. This post was for help fixing my Twister. Thanks.

More pics. I wrote down the cap values and trannys, as well, if anyone wants. Only 1 cap (an electrlytic?) wasn't readible. The numbers are hidden underneath.
Does this make you vultures (Boris) happy now?

thanks...but please can you post cap values too , and what is written on those 3 transistors?

soon I'll correct my layout and make it to look like your original :thumbsup

Values: View left to right with wire connection side of board on top (all caps 100v, except when noted)

Top row: C1 green 102K - C2 green 472K - grey electrolytic? (values hidden underneath, although 35V is visible) - C3 green 222K - C4 green 104K - C13 green 472K
Next row: C15 Red .047K - C5 green 102 K - C8 green 102K - green 474K
Next row: far left C6 green 102K - C7 102K
Bottom row: Grey electrolytic? 2.2 uf 35vdc - green 103 K - 3 orange ceramic? 47K 1kv - yellow .2uf 200v - C12 green 104K - C14 green 474K - green 102K
Trannys: T1 PN 4303 - T2 NP 4250 ebc - T3 NP 4250 ebc

I triple checked for accuracy, btw.
