Hi
Not really a stompbox.....
Just purchased a non working Simms-Watt Echo Dek. I've looked everywere for the schematic but nothing. Not even a decent picture. Does anyone here have a schematic? It would make me a very happy camper.

Thanks
H

Hi

Pictures will come! I haven't recived the unit yet. Bought it yesterday on e-bay, so hopfully I'll get it sometime next week. The seller said it started up but there was no output what so ever. Hopefully it can be fixed

Hi, (4 years later... but who cares) I also got one with a non-working erasing head. I figured it was because of a little grey transformer ( with 13Y 441 written on it) that must have passed or something, the only problem is that there's no way to get another one and no values on the schematic... I can post a scan of the latter if anyone is interested !

My question is: is there a way to guess what would the value be by looking at the diagram ?

Thanks for considering my question, I'm new here so please be kind.

There's actually a decent chance we can get something that'll make it work, and one of the senior members can probably do you better than that. Only way to know is if you post that, and for everyone's sake, the sooner you do it the better. As you can see, people generally have good intentions but priorities change over time.

Are you sure the head is not dead?? Measure it with a multimeter; it should give a quite low resistance (approx 180 ohm to 2kohm)
