Ok, I love how these amps sound so I made this jfet/mosfet preamp from the good old Russian schematic... I have not tested it, yet. Pretty sure it will work! Look it over and see if you can find any mistakes?

Here is the real amp demo from Ola

Say hello to DR. L3CT3R - Named after one of my favorite characters, Dr. Hannibal (The Cannibal) Lecter

Transfer... if you dare! Image
A pedal maker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti.

There were a couple mistakes on my first layout... This layout is 100% verified! And sounds killer to! No unwanted noise either, just killer high gain and brutal tone!

Another cool thing is that you can use the same layout for the VHT!

Here is a quick chunk demo DR.L3CT3R just to show the function of the "sweep" pot.. I am playing and turning the sweep pot a little bit as I go. This obviously has no musical value what so ever, just to show what effect the sweep pot has... I am using 7 string guitar with passive stock pickups > DR.L3CT3R pedal > Lart - simple cab sim > into the computer with a tone port GX > into Reaper with a small bit of 275ms delay. No other processing other than the delay...

The layout looks like created in Abacom SprintLayout.
May you share the SprintLayout file?
I would appreciate it very much.

Nice, work, J0K3RX!!!
As usual, I will build/test it as soon as I could...

Question...
How did you based the original scheme to "translate" it to JFET/MOSFET version???

I didn't create the original schematic... OldMike and Anton Kalina at www.GTLab.net

Look here..

By the way, I don't like the VHT at all but the Laboga (Mr.Hector) is gold!

The sweep pot is just changing the mixing resistor in the tone stack. I found this thread that still has the schematics up so that may help you with this circuit.
