hello all!! I'm working on a project that calls for a few caps that I can't seem to find... I wanted to see if anybody could point me in the right direction. I'm looking for:

25mF 25v electrolytic polarised axial
0.1mF axial
0.047 mF axial
0.22 mF axial

They seem like pretty standard values and styles.

Where do you get your other components from ? Surely they would stock these caps too.

so you need 25000uF, 100uF, 47uF and 220uF. The latter 3 should be easy to find. The first one? I dunno? Ebay?

In my experience 'mF' usually indicates microfarads, which is a completely confusing and inconsistent application of the metric system.

instead of inconsistent and confusing, let's just call it wrong...

Absolutely. It's wrong, ridiculous, illegitimate, incomprehensible, irresponsible, and diabolical (no offense, Lucifer). The capacitor people must have been hanging out with Leo Fender when they came up with this.
