You mean cascading them? I just don't get the "piggybacking" word allright...

Is this putting them in a darlington pair or something else?

Piggyback is referring to tieing two si trannys together base to base and emmitter to emitter but only using one of the collectors. This is suppose to lower hfe to around germ values. I'm just curious how this little trick sounds in comparison.

Might have a little go on a breadboard when i get some more transistors in then. Where does the resistor go? (someone mentionned using a resistor in another thread about this, but the schematic they posted was lost into the depths of time!)

look up the "miss piggy" it's an adaption of the fuzz face that uses 4 trannys altogether two piggy backed each.

I like the idea of putting a pot in between both emitters but I noticed when I roll back the pot it gets a little dull and muffled could i put a RC section in there so when I rollback to the cleaner setting i can get it to sparkle a bit and if so how?

Thanks
