hello


can i tag somewhere in the circuit of a diy pedal my millenium bypass led indicator rather than on the dpdt switch? but the function still the same.. it will lit up in on mode.. it will turn off on the bypass mode?


any opinions,thank you..

Yes, you could put it on a separate bit of perf or on the main board of the effect or whatever; electronically they're essentially the same.

You need it going via the switch somehow; the idea is that the "control" connection of the millenium bypass connects to nothing ("floating") when the pedal is on, but connects to the output of the circuit when the pedal is off.

Is there a reason you can't connect it to the switch? There might be another solution to your problem.

yes you're right there's a reason..it making a "thud" noise when i engaged my millenium bypass in the dpdt stomp switch its very audible.. :cry:

so i just wondering is there a possibility to connect it to other part of the circuit?but same funtionality..

That's a common issue but there are many causes.

Try searching for "millenium bypass popping" on aron's forum (DIYstompboxes) where the developer of the circuit, RG Keen, posts a lot.
