Need help with wiring

Postby Dominik1986 » 27 Jan 2012, 22:48

Hey guys,

I am fairly new here and got a question for you. I would like to wire two inputs to two different outputs and would like to switch between them with a 3PDT switch. Here's how I would do it:

I would wire it like an A/B selector but instead of one input I am using 2. I would wire the two inputs to the 3PDT switch as I would do it as if I have one input. Is this right?

Kind regards and many thanks,

Dominik

I don't know if that input thing would work or if you'd get hum, etc.

but assuming it does, you only need a SPST Switch like this

middle would go to the inputs, left to one output and right to the other.
