TL061CP or TL061ACP

Ok, you got your soldering iron and nothing is going to hold you back, but you have no clue where to start or what to build. There were others before you with the same questions... read them first.

Hi,

I'm going to build an MXR Micro Amp after successfully building my first pedal, an LPB-1. However, I've never dealt with opamps before.

I checked at the local store and they have a TL061CP and a TL061ACP on offer. What is the difference and which should I choose?

Thanks in advance,

Anthony

The TL061ACP has lower input offset voltage, input offset current and input bias current than the TO061CP, which makes it technically a higher grade version.
Shouldn't make much difference in a 9v effect though. Why don't you socket your pc board and try both?
