Great website for opamp and component guidelines

Ok, you got your soldering iron and nothing is going to hold you back, but you have no clue where to start or what to build. There were others before you with the same questions... read them first.

Great website for opamp and component guidelines

Postby atreidesheir » 05 Jun 2010, 04:07

Hi everyone.
I have found a pretty great website offering concise tutorials that appear to be based company spec sheets about electronics components and suggested uses and layouts. I wanted to share with the team. The website is Examcrazy.com and it appears to be a tutorial site for technical students. I thought it be useful for the apprentices like myself to the semi-pros and even the wise masters on whom we all focus close attention when we see their names beside a post.

This is the page about low voltage audio amps. The example is the good old lm386 as seen in the DAM Sonic Titan and ROG Big Daddy. These are both circuits I was researching and was interested in tweaking to my own tastes soon. The LM386 seems perfect for a generic power amp type drive with a low gain overdrive in front of it in a dual enclosure. I was thinking the Peppermill from homewrecker.com would be a good fit in front of the Sonic Titan.

For those interested here is the list of topics on the website.

Just to be clear... It seems the website is a resource for Indian Electronics Engineering Universities.

It is really a nice site. Very convenient.

Cheers Everyone.
Have a great night/day
