varicap diodes

I bought some strange components from a military surplus store. found out they are variable capacitance diodes.. are there any guitar related applications for these?
Depends on capacitance and how many you got.
If you have high capacitance parts you could build something like a voltage controlled filter (wah etc).
Smaller values can be used for increasing collector capacitance.
Making a modern transitor more lofi-old-style.
Connecting collector to base (reverse).
