Supreaux and Prof Tweed biasing problem

Postby jethrofloyd67 » 19 May 2013, 05:17

so i downloaded the schematics and breadboarded the Supreaux from ROG. got to work biasing the jfets to read 4.5v at the drain as stated on the schem. first two came out perfect, but the third is too high. at the highest it reads 8.98 and the lowest 7.31. the others go from 8.98 all the way down to 0.20.
ive swapped the trim pots around and tested all of them (all 100k), dismantled and rebuilt the thing twice before giving up and trying the Prof Tweed...
same problem...
has anyone else experienced this? im at a loss for whats going on here.
