Hi, guys
Do you have any info about this pedal?
I know, that it is based on germanium AC128 transistor and one bipolar(or, maybe, fet)
there are some guts

If you have guts, I think this can be moved to the regular boutique folder.

Here is a picture from the link:

Would the other si transistor just be for millenium bypass by any chance?

What about all the extra Caps and clipping diodes?

Only on this forum could somthing with 9 capacitors be "yet another fuzz face"

I think those two glass-package diodes beside the 4001 are for clipping. :hmmm:

I expect the transistors are for amplifying current and the capacitors are for DC blocking and filtering.

Hey now, smart guy! I was just trying to subtly reinforce the idea that perhaps it's not a part-for-part copy of a Fuzz Face.

Easy, tough guy. Easy.

I wasn't trying to hate on you dude, just thought it sounded funny ;)

It has two transistors. Other than that I don't see how anybody can call this a fuzz face

And why are there three fat-ass electrolytics on the board?

Fer fuck's sake, somebody post a damn top-down shot.

Suppose that one is for slowing the LED switching, one is for the power supply and one is for the output, with the smaller ones being used to bypass emitter resistors?

Yeah maybe. But why use 100uf for an output cap? Seems like anything bigger than 10uf would be unnecessary.

Hmmm.

Have one on the bench right now which is acting up shitty. Maybe trace it while I'm at it...

That would certainly put an end to my blind, fumbling suppositions.
