They are not grounded, they ARE - Vref.johnk wrote:I thought the same thing but pins 6&7 on the LM324N are supposed to be vref on a standard voltage divider(4.5Volts) so i'm not getting why you would ground them.
As I've mentioned before, for some reason on the Mike's schematic they have used the earth ground symbol to indicate virtual ground points (Vref) , and -V to indicate ground.
For some reason Mike's schematic use bipolar circuit symbols +/-V and GND.
Bernard's schematic use singe supply circuit symbols V, V/2=Vref and GND.

okay. that's what I thought. then Bernard's schematic is actually the same as Mike's.
and if that's the case, i'll have to go over my build a lot more since something is definitely not right.

well, i'm getting closer. I can actually hear the filter kicking in in one of the up down positions but it's not stable and very hard to dial it in.
so i'm going to stick with it and see if I a can solve it.

Does this mean you've done a vero layout, johnk?

I have now checked every component and trace on my layout and build and i'm 100% confident that it matches the schematic perfectly but it's still not working properly.
possibly the IC pin voltages from a working unit would help solve it?

I'll see if I can get a voltage chart.

Just don't give up on your end.
In case I cannot get the voltages..

i'[m going to try and keep at it, but without those voltages, it's going to be really hard to solve.chicago_mike wrote:Just don't give up on your end.

Hey John, post up some voltage readings your getting.
I'll send an email off to Godlyke and see if they have any voltage charts. I got the schemas from them anyways.
