sorry, i have only a hand drawn (traced) schematic of the PH5, but the Ibanez PT9 schematic is nearly identical to the PH5.

There´s a sucker born every minute - and too many of them end up in the bootweak pedal biz.

looks like it's got a fixed stage before and after the sweeping stages right?, so is this a 6 stage phaser?. can someone explain how that feedback works?. It's going to the - and+ inputs of the opamp...excuse my ignorance...

And C25 is a 22n. In it's own labelling as well as on the Fluke87

OhOhOh.... I think we have different units.
The FETs in mine are 2SK246GR.
C25 IS marked 47n in mine (not measured).
CR1 + CR2 are (not gooped) a 100k with a 1n ceramic in parallel.
ZD1 I noted as 4V7 (ZD 2 maybe too) - I have to recheck that.

The rest appears to be the same.

Nope we don't
I meant C24.
Which I had to check in turn in a PT9 since the PT9 service manual says it's a 2n cap.
right on the Fet's though ;)

Seriously interested in that discrete version of the CR's. Is that both components soldered on the same pads?

PCB-PH5-1010A

As you may know, for my friend dirk I would nearly do everything. So I did some sports and moved away more than hundred pedals for grabbing the Ibanez PH5 to take a shot of the discrete CR´s.

Here it is - from a 1996 pedal:
Ibanez_PH5_96_CR2.jpg
Also I took a picture of the C24 - yes it is 22n too:
Ibanez_PH5_96_C24.jpg
The I thought, maybe I should better control the zener-diodes, could be a mistake by me, but both are 4V7 - here is ZD2:
Ibanez_PH5_96_ZD2.jpg
Then I thought, maybe this new stuff..... so I opened one from 1991 - you can recognize this on the different resistors. But still, ZD 2 is 4V7:

Very interesting.... and ZD1 ?
Ibanez_PH5_91_ZD1.jpg
Ooops..... It is 4V7 too..... :hmmm:

The 1991 pcb is marked PCB-PH5-0101A only on the component side.
The 1996 pcb is marked PCB-PH5-0101A on both, the track and component side.

BTW.... How is the prosperity of the aeroplanes ?

Fine. Those work according to the maintenance manual and Parts list. No way to deviate from thoise, even if what is described makes little to no sense.

I have one this pedal but "speed" control does not work. I have added resistor 1Meg from pin 2 to pin 6 on IC TL022 and it starts working. But I'm not sure what is wrong and if my fix is OK. Does anybody have similar problem? Or any ideas what is wrong? Thanks.
