Schaller - Rotor Sound (1971)

Postby bajaman » 27 Oct 2007, 11:00

(admin edit: splif off from the Dharma Sound Phazer thread)

Hi AG
I noticed on the site mentioned in this thread a very very very rare Schaller Rotor Sound from 1971 - as he says a sound to die for. Well, I have one and I must say the oscillator section is shockingly bad - cheap wafer presets -easily broken and replaced, but still not a very convincing rotor effect - I downloaded the schematics and tried to get a usable sound from mine without success - my next step is to replace the oscillator with the one I used in my Trembulator - will keep you posted if successful.
cheers

This is the x-th time I was thinking "hey, I've got that one", while thinking of a Dynacord CLS222

Meanwhile some quick googling shows this:
