Trombetta - Bone Machine
Could be wrong not a pro.
Goop fail!
Just kidding. Surprised by the overall build quality though.
Nevertheless, he builds good sounding pedals and people wait in line for them. I read recently he was going to stop taking orders and take a break/make a life change after he fulfills his list of pre-orders.
How does one view a .sch file?

Thanks for the pic and schematic!
When looking into mine I found that it has components underneath the perf board. Does yours too and are they included in the schematic? Please mind that mine is a 2-in-1 and it might be build like that to save room inside the enclosure.

This circuit is definitely Jordan Bosstone based, as is most of Paul Trombetta's work. It looks awful similar to the Rockett WTF (which he also designed).
Dont remember if there were underboard components or not. You can compare it to the schem.

My Google search shows it being NPN silicon which jives with the schematic.fuzzbunny wrote:2N2097A is PNP germanium. Looks like there is a handwritten 87 or 187 on it's top. Probably hfe.

Now I'm a little confused, as I search some more it is showing it to be germanium pnp as well.Ripdivot wrote:My Google search shows it being NPN silicon which jives with the schematic.fuzzbunny wrote:2N2097A is PNP germanium. Looks like there is a handwritten 87 or 187 on it's top. Probably hfe.

I think in a way we are both correct.
There are different versions of Bosstones. Some with PNP in the Q2 position and others with NPN. Like you, I find different results for 2N2097 and 2N2097A.
