That thing looks really cool - and the apparent scarceness and value of the original makes it a perfect candidate for DIY copying. I would really like to see a schematic for it.

I'm on it. Might need a few days.soulsonic wrote:I would really like to see a schematic for it.

So you are looking for this ?
Maestro Full Range Booster (FRB-1) schematic
18V without additional electronics and for this reason less power consumption.
Hey, that´s something for bajaman....:
Frequency selective distortion from the 70´s..... another time - back to the future: Maybe the first Klon-Clone...
Attention: Maestro - B*hringer of the 70´s - is trying to harm Bill Finnegans income
enjoy,

There´s a sucker born every minute - and too many of them end up in the bootweak pedal biz.

Danke!
I noticed the two battery snaps in the picture. Hmm... I'll have to try this one out. I've got some 2N5088 and 741 gathering dust.....

Thanks, AG!
Did you have that posted somewhere else at one time? I could have sworn that I had seen a schem for it before but couldn't find any references.
Replacing R20, R22, R24 and R26 with pots would make the frequencies adjustable?

I attempted to make my first contribution but Analogguru beat me to it. I did compare the Analogguru schematic to the factory one and they match 100%. Should anyone want the factory schematic shoot me a PM.

You could have opamp clipper for each frequency without a lot of extra trouble, that would be a step up from a Klon.
