I snagged these off TGP in the for-sale section. I'm no law-monger, but I'm pretty sure this little educational post falls under "fair use" in US Copyright Law.

I'm assuming however that this is one of the earlier ones, as they seem to at least be using PCBs nowadays.

This is where I'm confused. I thought the current trend in boutique pedals was to make them as tiny as possible.

Well, I for one dig the graphics, at least.

Apparently the battery is held in by cellophane tape. Personally I like to wrap my battery in that rubber no-slide shelf paper and then hold it in place with electrical tape. In true DIY style.
