These links have disappeared. Are the Tech 21 schematics still kicking around anywhere for a repost?

That's interesting - I have the Tech21-made box, and it has a lot of sounds, but I haven't run into muddy or mushy yet. If anything, I'd say my box was a bit on the "bright" side of things, especially in the "A" drive.bajaman wrote:muddy mushy etc.How it's sound ?

I'll have to compare this schematic to my box and see if maybe there's a difference in version or something... Could also, like everything else, be a difference in amps/guitars/ears, etc.

When i tried one from a local music store , it sounded like a not fantastic low distortion box , that
sounded best with a cranked amp ................but then so do most things , didn't think about it
or even remember the hype after that .

I had the original Double Drive 5 years back. Lots of smooth mids ala TS. I was foolish enough to get a Double Drive 3X after that thinking I could dial in a cool quick carry programable gig pedal.
The most sterile, least musical pedal I have ever owned. Had nothing in common with the original. The active EQ suuuuuuuuucked!
I do like a few Tech 21 products very much. Boost DLA, Liverpool, Leeds for Bass
