Oh yes! I'm looking forward to seeing if this looks just as hack-sawed together as the Fuzz Overloader we traced last year :D  he's coming on in leaps and bounds now. circuit-bent nux time core aka ic water: http://postimg.org/image/upj8rqt3t/ http://postimg.org/image/fy12ve2cf/ yours for ...

Re: SNAZZY FX - WOW AND FLUTTER [traced]
So has there been any headway on this schematic? I'd love to see how some of the controls are implemented for my own 2399 ideas, but if I could avoid attempting a first trace (from pics no less) it might be better for everyone involved. see the midfi electronics clarinot....pt2399 envelope vibrato....

This shouldn't be different from any of his other pedals in terms of hardware. Ice 9 traced out the tunnel worm so that schematic should be of interest to you. Not sure I remember seeing the ferrite beads though.

Wow very cool of you to post this. Why fet input buffer and op amp output? Were you not happy with the way the diystompbox project sounded with the dual op amp in/out buffers?

Re: Earthquaker Devices Arpanoid
I have been able to create a 4-step pitch arpeggiator for the FV-1. It uses a ramp LFO which is divided into 4 equal time slices by SKP instructions. This is separate from the Ramp LFO that does the actual pitch shifting. You can then set the pitch shift for each of those sections. It goes quite cl...

Re: Earthquaker Devices Arpanoid
Yes I know there is an Fv-1 in there as I have said that in every post. I am wondering what that is under neath the 8 position switch maybe a pic of some sort idk. I would like to see a better picture of that chip

Re: Earthquaker Devices Arpanoid
well the sequencing cant be done by the fv-1 here because it has a three position rocker along with the 8 position switch which is more than the fv-1 is capable....so something else must be doing it.....right????

Earthquaker Devices - Arpanoid
I have been thinking about the arpanoid an awful lot lately and I have am pretty sure it uses the spin chip for the pitch shifting. The fv-1 has a very particular sound when it comes to pitch shifting and thats what Im hearing in the arpanoid demos. The fv-1 must have a sequencer hooked up to one of...

im surprised they even bother with different pcbs for all these pedals. I imagine the organizer and afterneath have the exact same circuit

absolutely spin based, you can see the crystal on pins 9 and 10. Not sure why there are so many transistors, assuming one of those packages is the voltage regulator, what are the other three?

is the 'magic' switch not just a feedback loop connecting the input to the output?

you seemed to think it was some sort of custom code that spin had to load onto the chip, from what I read.

Re: Earthquaker Devices - Rainbow Machine
ive recently put my whammy IV in a feedback looper and have gotten the EXACT same sounds as the rainbow machine. If I were to guess it is just a pitch shifter on the fv-1 which im pretty sure is a pre loaded program on the spin chip.
