Re: Dumbloid [traced]
Schematic is not verified, but I think that's it. Regarding the photos posted earlier in this thread of the Dumbloid Special, I guess the jazz/rock switch is just a switched cap after R16 to ground (lp filter). I tried 47-100nF, and that sounded promising. Have fun with your modded TS! Looking at b...

Re: Dumbloid [traced]
Traced a Dumbloid Standard (without jazz/rock switch), and it's basically a slightly modded Clay Jones Overdrive (which is a modded Tube Screamer). So in fact, it's just YATS! Schematic is not verified, but I think that's it. Regarding the photos posted earlier in this thread of the Dumbloid Special...

Re: Majik box pedal guts/schems
There was a review in the German magazine "Gitarre&Bass" some time ago with high res gut shots.
I'll not publish the guts here, since they are copyright protected I guess. But if you are interested, PM me...

Re: Majik box pedal guts/schems
Traced it from gut shots, it's based on the layouts from GGG. Based on the schematic from GGG, you have to change the following components: http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/pdf/ggg_its8_sc.pdf?phpMyAdmin=78482479fd7e7fc3768044a841b3e85a R7 20k R11 200 C3 150n C9 150n OP is OPA2604AP (Burr-Brown),...

Re: Majik box pedal guts/schems
Fuzz Universe is a simple combination of Tube Screamer with symmetric red LED clipping and MXR MicroAmp! You may have to change a few component values...

Re: Vemuram Jan Ray (Traced) [traced]
Thanks to mmolteratx for tracing. But are you sure about the values of R9/R10? Looks a bit odd to me and very mis-biased... Yup. Removed and measured to be sure. It's definitely odd. Ok, thanks. Maybe this is why the Jan Ray does not sound like a Timmy on the first view. I guess this odd voltage di...

Re: Bogner Ecstasy Red
Tried my hand at tracing the tone section...let me know if anyone finds mistakes. I'd really like to revoice it and would sure appreciate some help in knowing where to start. It doesn't match the real Ecstasy amp and is more complicated in the tone stack. I used one of Ecstasy-789's photos for help...

EDIT 2: in boost mode C5 is 220NF || 1UF = 1.22UF... What means ? the boost switch add a 1UF condenser? I made one but : -in the "cream" circuit if I don't use a lower resistor insted of 47K in the transistor the circuit don't work. -the mid control have subtle effect, I realy don't under...

The booster is placed before the input buffer!caspercody wrote:When you say the boost is before the distortion section is that before the first satge of the Gov'ner portion? And right after the buffer?

I've traced it on my own from an original Triple Wreck and compared them... sounds like the same in my ears, and pretty nice too.

Re: Wampler -Triple Wreck- [traced]
Here's what i traced.
NOTE: The power section is not the same as in the original. Switching is not shown, it's done with millenium bypass (as indyguitarist already said).
Have fun!
