Re: List of Joyo Pedal Clones [schematic]
They kind of would have to be matched for it to work out properly. Thanks. Do you think it will i perform smother with closer tolerance? Some seems to think so, but I've not been able to find any examples. I bought this pedal after realizing that all of the MPX versions needed some tweeks to make t...

Joyo - JF-06 Vintage Phase [schematic]
Couldn't find any post on the JF-06 MXR Phase 90 clone so here you go. Wonder if the 2N5952 transistors are matched  https://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z222/minebildererdine/StompBox/JOYO_JF-06_c.jpg https://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z222/minebildererdine/StompBox/JOYO_JF-06_b.jpg https://i...

Re: Marshall JMP-1 Preamp mods?
Thanks for posting Jooshtin. As far as I can read from the rtf file this mod is purely a hi-fi mod one would do to studio gear, or to a better stereo for less noise and distortion. As far as I can see there isn't really any tone shaping suggested in that text. Of course there will be some minimal ch...

Re: Cornish G2 - Guts, Schematic, Layout (from Tracer's Fund) [traced]
It's been mention several times that this pedal is meant to be played load. With high volume comes ear bleed, - often corrected by rolling down the tremble. I'm curries to know if those of you concluding that your builds are dark sounding have tested the pedal with realistic volume as in band rehea...

Re: geofex 2 band parametric EQ
This schematics shows a parametric eq (freq, gain and Q). I haven't tested it but it should point you in the right direction. i built that a couple of weeks ago, works a treat. if you look at the mutron III (q-tron and neutron also) schematics youll see how it can be used as a hi pass, lo pass, ban...

Groove Tubes Dual 75 schematics
I have one of these Peavey Classic 60/60 tanks here collecting dust Thinking it might be a good build platform for something similar to the Dual 75? For inspiration purpose would anyone bee willing to share the schematics for the Groove Tubes Dual 75 rack power amp? Although I might not be able to m...

How are the LDR arrangement done in this pedal? Is it that black cylinder looking like a cap?
Are there any reference to L/D resistance on the schematics?

Re: Hermida Audio - Zendrive [ goop-alarm ] [traced]
Anyone tell me more about the goop used in this pedal? I don't think I've seen this product before. Looks like he also used it to fasten the leads to chassis. Is it some kind of plate one cut to desired size and the use heat gun or chemical hardener to "melt" in place? He uses it to conce...

Re: Hermida Audio - Zendrive [ goop-alarm ] [traced]
Back to the chip, might have to disagree on the AD712 being the stock chip. I just got a 712 and it looks nothing like the stock chip, plus it has a notch at one end. Stock chip looks like a TI or Fairchild product to me. Guiltyspark Anyone familiar with TI and Fairchild product line? If it is one ...

Thanks for sharing your experience and thought on this matter DrNomis.
Sounds like this cirricut needs a good layout and psu to work properly.
I salute your great work here bajaman.

Re: BAJA Real Tube Drive pedal project [documentation]
Stop wasting your time trying to analyse this part of the circuit - it is just a muting circuit for when the effect is bypassed - nothing more than that.   The tube section is where it all "happens" bajaman Thanks bajaman! Then I wasn't all wrong then. But people...

Hi Zapfizz, Hope that is of some help. Thanks! I've had a hard time figuring this part of the cirricut out as there are at least three different version around. Re: BAJA Real Tube Drive pedal project [documentation]
Anyone able to talk me though the parts between the two op-amp stages? I' guessing we are seeing a load resistor and a filter? But these parts are then repeated again. My first thought was that they're there to suppress pop noise when muting the cirricut. But after reading Dirk's article I see he us...

Re: BAJA Real Tube Drive pedal project [documentation]
I recently bot an old over priced 3 knob version of the BK Butler Tube Driver. As the external power adapter is missing and 'everyone' tels me it sounds shit I thought I give it a go with the soldering iron. This thread has an end product that seams to be a better TD and I like to ask a couple of qu...

Re: OHT for toner transfer?
Most copy machines and laser printers are fixing the toner to paper with 180-220 Celsius. If the machine has a media setting for OHT it will usually fixate at some 20 degree lower. Many modern color laser machines operate with a little lower temperature on the fixing rollers than older b/w machines....
