Re: Dumbloid [traced]

Anyone waiting on a PCB, apologies for the delays. I got totally swamped with school work towards the end of the semester, and just finished. The boards are here (and awesome), but I'm out of town on vacation for two weeks before I start up again. I'll let you guys know when I'm back and start send...

That stinks, man. I don't mind paying a little extra when you get the new ones to help offset the cost of the bad boards.

Thanks for the info man. I'll be putting in a Big Muff fuzz. Do you know if it would work?

Adding feedback loop to fuzz pedal??

Hey guys what would be the easiest way to add a feedback loop to a pedal? I'll probably do it using a momentary switch. I'm just unclear on how to wire it up. Anybody have a layout or something? Thanks!

Re: Landgraff - MO-D

New member just looking around... I must say I'm TOTALLY amazed anyone is paying attention to this guys stuff. Myself and my former band mates dealt with him face to face on a few occasions (many years back now) and without getting into gory details let's just say I found his character rather dubio...

Hao Rust Driver Schem?

Anybody still have the schem or layout for the Rust Driver? The links I find don't seem to work anymore. Thanks!

Seattle, Wa. It's not Clay.

I agree they don't sound great in that clip and the playing doesn't really suit the pedals. But the BMOD I have here sounds really good.

Re: Clay Jones Overdrive [traced]

You opinion is based on a clone of a clone, correct? Have you played a real CJOD? I have played several, they were all the same, except the 2 that Tomo has. If yours does not create a shit load of line noise, then its not a CJOD. Your Black market could be a tweaked guess at what the CJOD...

Re: Clay Jones Overdrive [traced]

When did JofZ mention the BMOD? He was talking about the DOD FX54, which the Clay Jones OD was rumoured to be based upon. "most really could care less about the CJOD, as it creates more noise in your line then any pedal on earth. If people think it sounds great they need their ears checked!&qu...

Re: Clay Jones Overdrive [traced]

I can state with out a doubt the CJOD is 100% based on a DOD pedal. People can do all the homework they want. But the above is fact! The pedal builders community is so small there are no secrets. Besides the above being true, most really could care less about the CJOD, as it creates more noise in y...

I don't think they were all TS derivitives somehow...mine sounded more compressor like than a screamer fwiw. Possible.... because it has more maximum gain (1000) compared to a tubescreamer (only 100) and starts later to reduce gain (1,7V vs. 0,65V) ..... Yesand No. B08 is built the same way as No 1...

As you can see from Analogguru's tracing, the CJOD is a true bypass TS-808 on perfboard. The Landgraff is also a TS-808 but with a switch for the diode clippers. GGG has all the project files you need to build a "CJOD" or "Landgraff." :D I can't really see that from his tracing,...

Since the discussion seems to never stop and even a ghoul named "Kris" wants to make some money ($ 10.000,-- profit) out of it, here we go. This is the verified (and mirrored to match to the goop side) solder side of the (gooped) Clay Jones Overdrive with added component placement: Clay J...

I've gotta agree about the sockets. Isn't that what we do when we're still testing a design? I think that's crap if a builder tells you you need other parts in their "special design". Just my opinion. By now you'ld think he could afford to have the PC's with plated through holes fabbed up...
