Beavis has already done the Klon buffer alone, just build this up. http://www.beavisaudio.com/techpages/Bu ... r_clon.gif

Re: Lovepedal - Eternity [traced]
On the schematic it shows 12v hooked directly to tube pin 3 through 19 ohms, is that right, or does it need to be 6.3v like I've seen in the 6111 datasheet and 6111 subcaster?

Re: Lovepedal - Eternity [traced]
Further searching has me thinking this 1 mh inductor is just for the power supply. Can anyone explain what its function is? If I use a 12v supply from my voodoo labs pedal power 2+, I should be fine without it, right?

Re: Lovepedal - Eternity [traced]
I have a question about he tube boost that was posted in this thread. What is the 1mh inductor that was in the layout? Where is it in the accompanying schematic? Also, I'm not sure I can see it in the picture.
I don't have any 1mh inductors, is there any way to build the tube boost without one?

Put those little velcro loops around 3 cables. Problem solved!

Re: DOD - FX25 ( Envelope Filter ) [schematic]
Apparently the switching system on these is bad. A friend of mine, a touring guitarist, has gone through about 10 of them that have all broken or just become inconsistent in the switching. I told him I could try to fix them for him so he wouldn't have to buy more, and we were thinking that true bypa...

Or does anyone have the schematic? The original link is dead - did anyone save it?

Re: BAJA Sagittarian Charger (mini KLON) [documentation]
Well, thanks to madbean for the PCB, and baja for creating the project, I finally finished my Charger. Had more trouble with pots not working right than I've ever had before, but I finally got it going. I had to use a different cap (instead of 390n, I used 470n). Not sure if this is a big difference...

Re: BAJA Sagittarian Charger (mini KLON) [documentation]
I didn't notice until after I pulled the electrolytic caps from my stash and soldered them in, that only my 1uf are rated 50v. The 4.7 and 47 are all 16v. Will there be a problem using these 16v caps?

Re: BAJA Sagittarian Charger (mini KLON) [documentation]
I'm still wondering if someone would make and ship me a sagittarian charger pcb. I live in Chicago, perhaps someone lives around here and I could even pick it up? I can pay whatever is fair price.

I don't do circuit boards yet, is there a schematic for this? I couldn't find it. Or can I buy a pcb from someone?

Re: Foxrox - Wah before fuzz retrofit ( buffer )
if you use the Foxrox buffer in front of the fuzz instead of at the end of the wah, it means the buffer will be always there no matter if your wah is on or off, the advantages of that is that you can put other buffered pedals in front of the fuzz, like a tuner, it does respond well to lowering of t...

Re: Foxrox - Wah before fuzz retrofit ( buffer )
I don't really understand the last two posts, so I'll clarify in case I didn't make sense before. Instead of having a wah that is retrofitted to output a high impedance with a Foxrox buffer, why not have a fuzz retrofitted to have a foxrox buffer before the fuzz circuit but after the switch, to rais...

Re: Foxrox - Wah before fuzz retrofit ( buffer )
I am curious if there is any reason to put this at the end of the wah circuit vs. the beginning of the fuzz circuit. Say you have a buffer at the beginning of your board to set a low impedance for the rest of your board. Wouldn't having the wah changing the impedance for the fuzz be only necessary w...

Re: Barber - Tone Press [traced]
I just wanted to bump this thread because I couldn't find any info on Barber's site about a Tone Press schematic or something similar. I'm interested in the BYOC comp which seems similar, but the Barber looks simpler and from what little I know its supposed to be a little better. Also, I don't have ...
