Re: 29 pedals - Euna [traced]

Look at the netlist file which has been generated from your schematic & see what is going on around line 56. Hopefully there will be some component references which can point you to a bit of the schematic which has an error of some kind.

Re: Rocktek ODR-1 Overdrive

Looking at the pcb a bit more, looks like the weird looking cap may be due to switching circuit not being included in the schematic.

Re: Rocktek ODR-1 Overdrive

C3/C6 and C15/C4 look odd. The smaller capacitor dominates in each case & makes the larger capacitor redundant.

Re: Eventide H90

From Youtube comments: @Rwedelich Eventide Dev here. I'll only comment on what you got wrong about the processing power b/c I don't want misinformation out there. It'd be amazing if we could squeeze all that DSP math out of a 108 MHz chip, but alas, that's just not true. The GigaDevices chip is not ...

Re: Boss GE-7 Mods

Removing R28 & R36 possibly slightly reduced the clipping - or at least made it sound less harsh. Running on 18v improved the clipping greatly. Checking with the pedal removed from the signal chain I was actually getting clipping on the clean channel of my amp. Dropping the pickup down by 1 turn...

Re: Boss GE-7 Mods

Getting clipping on my GE-7 when hitting the strings hard, even when in bypass. Suspect the output from my Black Winter pickup is a little high & is clipping in the emphasis circuit, IC5. Will try it on 18v to see if that helps, but will mod appropriately first. Have already replaced all the tan...

Re: Amptweaker - Side Track Bypass Loop [traced]

If the 3PDT were used to switch the supply to the anode side of the LEDs, and the bypass loop LED's cathode were connected to the ring terminal of the send or receive jacks, then the bypass LED would only light if the bypass loop is connected.

Re: Pete Cornish - OC-1 Optical Compressor [traced]

But the only way to forward-bias D2 is for pin 6 to go below GND. Even if that were possible, with the supply rails on IC3 being +Vc/GND, I don't see how the input circuitry in the opamp can work.

Re: Pete Cornish - OC-1 Optical Compressor [traced]

IC3A/IC3B looks like the "precision full wave rectifier" circuit from Horowitz & Hill (don't have my copy to hand, but IIRC this is it; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Precision_rectifier), but with D2 connected on a separate op-amp. Seems to me this should be functionally equivalent. No...

Re: Fortin Zuul [traced]

The "gate" is not on/off. As the level of the key signal reduces, the input->output gain reduces more quickly. For example, key halves in amplitude results in gain dropping by 4. (not actual numbers, just for example). If you turn the control knob up you should hear the "bleed through...
