Re: Earth Sound Research - Graphic Fuzz [schematic]
Sorry for the OT: Someone sent an email to me asking questions on the graphic fuzz, username starting with letter B... (just remember this). thinking that it was just the notification of a PM, I deleted the email, and came here on the site to answer him, but it WAS an email! He was asking about the ...

At least in the second pic the band looks gold, so 33 Ω, that is a more conventional value.

Re: Baja Sagittarian - switch pop [SOLVED]
You can use a 1M resistor (pulldown resistor) across the input tip and ground. It works, but in this way the 1M resistor is always connected to guitar signal, even in bypass. You should put that resistor directly on the PCB, across the IN pad and ground. Or, on the 3pdt switch, across the pin conne...

R54 is on the signal path, so without it the pedal would be mute, if activated.

here are the schematic and some pics of another unit: https://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?p=84227#p84227 the black (-) wire of the battery seems to be connected to the input jack sleeve (as already suggested by mauman), together with the shield of the input wire and the other black wire tha...

Referring to GGG schematic:

C2 10n
C3 100n
C8 100n
C4 150n
SPEED B100k
R11 - this is the out res to ground - your choice

Components numbering is referred to Manfred's schematic/layout (the only one that you can actually see in this page)

I don't know about the reliability, but these (real) point to point pedals are always a pleasure to look at.

hey Johan, thanks for your tracing and schematic.
i've noticed a little typo in your schem: R6 being 147 (ohm?) while should be 147k
cheers

just count the 10k resistors and make your conclusions (considering also the notes on the Klon schematic).

Re: Lovepedal Vibe/Magicboy [traced]
I looked at one schematic I downloaded from... I don't remember, and it had these values.
Anyway, it doesn't make any difference, considering capacitors tolerances.
PS: It was a schematic from ampage.org, that I downloaded from elektrotanya

Re: Lovepedal Vibe/Magicboy [traced]
i've found some pics of unit #10 from reverb.com, and on this unit the output resistor is present.
You can see it in the first pic, at the bottom-left of the PCB, very close to the red output capacitor (C7 - 150n, referring to Manfred's schematic)

Re: Lovepedal Vibe/Magicboy [traced]
actually the BIAS trim should be 250K, not 50K. i think there's a little error in your schematic, Manfred.
and still seems strange to me that there isn't any resitor to ground on the output; could be an off-board component, maybe?

Re: JHS Pulp-n-Peel [traced]
How do you say that? I mean, are you sure about it? I am reffering to the schematic. It says TL072, but only shows 1 op-amp in use. It has 2 op-amps and the second one should be properly "stubbed" to prevent possible noise. See the TI technotes which has a reference design for that. They ...
