Boss - CE-2W schematic or gutshots someone?!

Anyone have more technical information about the Boss CE-2W? I am very curious about the mods on the standard CE-2.
So does anyone have a schematic or gutshots of this pedal?
Or maybe someone has this pedal and can take gutshots of the PCB? I am very curious about this.

Re: Mesa Boogie - Throttle Box [schematic]

For the tone potentiometer, a 20K potentiometer is required. However, I can only find a 20K W-taper that is also used with a Tubescreamer. Can I also use this for this? Or do I have to go to a 25K version?

Re: Mesa Boogie DR Clone from the Ampclones

Anyone have an idea why the Orange Drop capacitor is in the image below? At the level of the selector switch, on the terminal strip at the tube sockets. I do not see this reflected in the diagram, but also not in the building description.Image

Re: Capacitors in Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier

Okay, but what type of capacitor is normally applied at this position?
I assume that Mesa deliberately chose this type ?!

Re: Capacitors in Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier

Now I have the following question. In the power amp section of the amplifier there is a 100nF capacitor (C51) in the feedback loop. But I think this is an MLCC capacitor. Anyone have any idea why no Orange Drop type capacitor is used here like in the rest of the amplifier? This also happens with C52...

I also see an Atmel. So a piece of software will also have to be written if this pedal will be cloned.

Re: Issues with Small Stone Phaser

Just done some tests. Exchanging the CA3080 with another made no difference. I am talking about the volume loss when switching the color switch. Then I started measuring with the scope. I made a video of this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8EqeXc8OpC8 At the beginning of the video I turn the rate ...

Re: Issues with Small Stone Phaser

I had already gone through the building reports. But I only see mods for volume drops of the entire effect. For me it is mainly when switching the color switch. But I have not yet encountered this problem on the internet. What is the function of capacitor Ca? This is not in the original design. http...

EHX - Small Stone Phaser: issues

I made a new layout of the Small Stone with the Tonepad schematic. After the first try it appears that the pedal works but that I have an LFO tick on my signal. And this is clearly audible at a higher Rate. I was able to reduce this by placing a 1uF capacitor between the + and - input of the LFO opa...

Mesa Boogie DR Clone from the Ampclones

I am looking for info and the building description of dual rectifier from Ampclones. Since the Ampclones website has been offline for a number of years, I am trying to retrieve info from the forum ampclones via wayback machine. Unfortunately I cannot get further than the attached image. Does anyone ...

EHX - Small Clone - Difference in schematic !?

Gentlemen, I have the following question. On the internet I see a difference in the schematics of the small clone. I am talking about the Tonepad schematic and the original EHX schematic. With the version of Tonepad, pin 2 of ic1 is connected via a network of 6k8 and a 10nF to 4.5V. On the original ...

Capacitors in Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier

Hey, In a Dual Rectifier, 1uF capacitors are connected to the cathode. Via an LDR or resistor to GND. But when I look at the PCB these are not ordinary electrolyte capacitors, but yellow capacitors that look very similar to the construction of a resistor. The + side seems to be a bit tapered. See im...

here is a plot from ltspice simulation. With 250mH you have 678 Hz, with 220mH - 720 Hz and with 200mH - 760 Hz.

Would the difference of 42Hz give an audible difference?
