Bulk lot of parts for sale or trade!
I've lost my interest in building so I'm blowing everything out in one bulk trade. I'm open to trades for high quality pedals, either name brand or diy. Would prefer one really good dirt pedal but I'm open to offers of almost any kind. I'll pay shipping on my stuff, you pay it on yours. None of the ...

Will trade parts for Meathead Dark clone and others!
Hey guys. Due to a lot of things going on right now, I'm taking a long hiatus from pedal building. I just don't have the time, space or motivation to dedicate to the hobby. I have collected a TON of various parts (pots, boxes, switches, resistors/caps, vero board, wire, transistors, etc) and I'm loo...

Re: Sodium persulfate disposal
so dont worry man im sure ya'l get it right the next time! let us know how it goes! Thanks man! I did try a pair of boards yesterday - a Stratoblaster and an SHO. They etched ok (the secret was to get the etchant/water mix almost boiling before dropping the boards in!), but I don't have any way to ...

Re: Sodium persulfate disposal
Thanks for the info guys. It seems ridiculous that when I go to Google and type in 'sodium persulfate disposal' I can't get an answer that's worth a turd. And btw I did try to etch my first board - failure. I put the etchant in a plastic bowl and put it inside a larger bowl and kept filling the oute...

Sodium persulfate disposal
I'm finally ready to etch my first pcb with some sodium persulfate I got from Steve over at Small Bear. I emailed him about how to dispose of the used stuff and he said he thought the copper left over after evaporation was safe to pitch, but that I should check with a certain 'other' forum. I've got...

Re: Recommendations for breadboards
Ebay is great because a lot of that stuff has free shipping. It's like a Jedi mind trick I play on myself, that since there's free shipping I don't feel so bad about buying.
The Beavis board is pretty happening but at this point I just need to get my feet wet.

Re: BAJA Sagittarian Charger (mini KLON) [documentation]
I think I figured out what the problem was - I had a bad 1/4" cable that was shorting out! I do still have a problem - when running off a wall wart I don't have sound in bypass. If anyone has any idea about this problem I'd appreciate it. You can look to my post above for info about how I've go...

Re: BAJA Sagittarian Charger (mini KLON) [documentation]
Hey guys. I need some troubleshooting advice on my in/out/dc/9v jack wiring. It's got me stumped... INPUT JACK Ring > 9v battery snap negative Tip > PCB Input Sleeve > 1/4" output jack sleeve OUTPUT JACK Tip > Footswitch lug (lug with the 2pc 68k and 1pc 100k resistors) Sleeve > 1/4" input...

I'm going to build the Alembic Stratoblaster replica they have over at General Guitar Gadgets ( http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=64&Itemid=26 ) as my next build. I was going to try to source all the parts from Small Bear but I'm running into a...

Re: mounting board to enclosure
This is a great topic for some of us newbie types... I've got a project I'm getting ready to start that doesn't have holes in the corners for standoffs... Any ideas on how to get around this?
